About CETRA

CETRA MOVEMENT is an experimental browser-based movement training environment that uses webcam face tracking to control an avatar and participate in a shared multiplayer world.

Camera and face tracking

Camera access begins only when you enable the camera and grant browser permission. Face tracking is processed locally in your browser. CETRA's multiplayer application does not transmit camera images, video, facial pose measurements, or mouth movement data to its multiplayer server.

CETRA does not request microphone access. You can stop camera capture using the Stop button. Leaving or hiding the page also stops capture through the application's camera lifecycle controls.

Multiplayer information

When you enable your camera, CETRA attempts to connect to its multiplayer service. The service receives your avatar's position, heading, and a temporary session identifier. Other connected players receive avatar movement information so they can see your avatar.

Stopping your camera disconnects your multiplayer session. Your avatar is removed from other players' shared world when the server processes the disconnection. Unexpected network interruptions may delay removal.

Hosting and network information

CETRA is hosted using Cloudflare Pages, Cloudflare Workers, and Durable Objects. Cloudflare processes network requests and may process information such as IP addresses, request metadata, and security-related information to deliver and protect these services.

CETRA does not intentionally collect analytics or record webcam video through the application. Multiplayer session information is used to maintain the shared lobby. Cloudflare's handling and retention of network metadata are subject to its applicable policies and service settings. Specific infrastructure log-retention periods have not yet been independently verified by the CETRA operator.

Accounts and payments

This browser demo does not require a CETRA account, payment, or microphone access.

Your choices

You can decline camera permission, stop your camera, disconnect from multiplayer, or leave the website. You can also manage camera permissions in your browser. For questions about personal information or requests concerning data associated with your use of CETRA, contact the operator below.
